The PageBean eBusiness Suite is setup in an N-Tier format with separate logical layers. Physical architecture and logical architecture are related, but separate. In terms of physical architecture this means we can run all the logical layers on one server or across a hundred servers, depending on your needs. We can support the smallest of customers who really one need one server, or the largest of customers who need to support millions of users.

The recommended enterprise setup is outlined below.



There can be any number of servers in each layer.

In this environment we have full redundancy. One or multiple servers can go down and the system stays up and running.

Also, the application is designed to split up a single call across three (or sometimes four) individual servers. Every time a customer clicks on a page from one of your websites, the load of that single call is split up among the three layers, choosing three servers out of however many servers you have in the cluster, ensures the call processed as fast as possible.

Also, you are allowed as many servers as you need to support that load. Provided you have enough bandwidth you can support extreme traffic loads with no problem. Additionally, as your business grows and additional capacity is required, simply plug in additional servers where needed.
